Phwedo Court Case Proceedings Moved to Larger Courtroom



The courtroom was abuzz with excitement as a large group of supporters and fans of Malawian actor Phwedo packed the Principal Resident Magistrate's court. On the hearing of his case of sexual violence in Lilongwe. On 24 April, 2025.

However, their enthusiasm proved too much for the courtroom, causing a disturbance that disrupted the proceedings. 

In response, the court management made the decision to relocate the trial to the Chief Resident Magistrate's court, which offered more space to accommodate the crowd.

As the news spreads, many are left wondering if the case is true or not. Phwedo, a well-known figure in Malawi, has garnered a significant following, and his fans were eager to hear his case. 

Despite the chaos, the court management remained determined to ensure a fair trial, and the case would proceed in the new courtroom.

The relocation of the trial was a necessary step to maintain order and decorum in the court. With the Chief Resident Magistrate's court offering ample space, the proceedings continue without interruption.
